    The Kazakh are a Turkish people who live in the Northern parts of Central Asia. The ethnic Kazakh in Mongolia mostly live in the West of the country. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, many Mongolian Kazakh decided to return to Kazakhstan. Many of them however returned to Mongolia disillusioned, where their culture, traditions and language had been better preserved than in the motherland.
